Winter Ringing – Sabkhat Al Fasl
We went ringing in early January 2018 and
set a couple more nets than normal. As it was mid-winter bird numbers were down
but we still caught quite a few birds for us totalling 29 and including Common
Chiffchaff, Common Kingfisher, House Sparrow, Red-spotted Bluethroat and the
difficult to catch Water Pipit.
