Whilst
birding at Abu Hadriyah Arnold found a couple of very good birds. Both are
found in the region but neither are common or easy to photograph. Semirufus Black
Redstart is an uncommon winter visitor to the region whereas Pharaoh Eagle Owl
is an uncommon breeding resident. I thank Arnold for sending me the photos and
