Paul Kairouh went birding to the Al Khobar
Corniche recently and took a few photos of a number of local species. Isabelline
Wheatear and Pied Wheatear are regular passage migrants through the Eastern
Province at this time of year. Paul also saw a number of birds on the seafront
including Ruddy Turnstone, Whimbrel and Greater Flamingo all of which are
passage migrants and winter visitors with Greater Flamingo common and the other
two uncommon.
