Phil went for a walk around
the jebals behind the power station 28 February and turned up a few good birds.
The best was an Asian Desert Warbler that is scarce on the camp although my
first record for the patch was in this same area in 2011. Phil also saw Pied
Wheatear, Isabelline Wheatear, Lesser Whitethroat and Tawny Pipit, with the
Wheatears showing that migration is definitely underway. Phil kindly sent me
some details and a couple of his photos and has allowed me permission to use
them on my website of which I am very grateful.
