A ringed
adult Greater Flamingo was at the Damman / Al Khobar Wader Roost south, Eastern
Province of Saudi Arabia, on 6th December 2012 see photograph. The
bird had a metal ring on the left leg and a white plastic ring on the right leg
with black lettering T/FDT. This is the first time a colour ringed Greater Flamingo has been sighted in Saudi Arabia and the ringing details are as follows:
