Little Egret
Black-winged Stilt numbers were down today but still a healthy one hundred and twenty four birds were on the percolation pond. Other waders included a single Greenshank, eight Little Ringed Plover and three Kentish Plover. A couple of Hoopoe were seen, the first sightings for a few days and a Little Egret was on the percolation pond. This is only the second time I have seen the species in Dhahran Camp with the last time being in early May.
