Indian Silverbill

Today there was a couple of pairs of Indian Silverbill in the trees by the edge of the percolation pond. They are not common in the area although are occasionally seen and the population is on the increase.
They were originally introduced (escaped cage birds) and were first seen in Dhahran in 1974 since when they have become established.

Green Sandpiper - 2
Wood Sandpiper - 2
Ruff - 1
Little Ringed Plover - 12
Black-Winged Stilt - 48
Inidan Silverbill - 4
